Had a Chinese and a Yugoslav. I much preferred the Easter Bloc version over the chicom one....it had a better overall quality to it IMHO. Got the chicom for 50 bucks, then later gave it to a friend of mine who got out of the Corps a few summers back and needed a rifle to plink around with on the cheap. Sold the Yugoslav to another friend of mine a when I sold nearly all my guns during my divorce :-(. Cant complain though....its value skyrocketed between the time I bought it and sold it hehe. Would like to have another eastern bloc one, but I dont miss the chicom (I have an ingrained dislike for owning anything from there lol)

My 1955 Russian, appears unfired from rearsenal. I bought it from a guy that had bought it in 94 and claimed to have tossed it in its box in to his closet. The chamber and bolt and magazine show no signs of use and I can't bring myself to fire it.

surprisingly I dont have any pics of my Yugo M59/66A1..gotta get some I guess.

Man, that's a looking SKS.

Here's my Chinese model. It was the first rifle I'd ever bought, back when I was a poor college student.
