Default Dan Wesson Family

For years I just used my Glock 23. It is a nice gun for what it is, something I can "toss" into the glove box and not worry about effing up the finish.

I really had forgotten how much I did love the 1911. A Colt 1911 was my first handgun I ever owned. I did my research and came to the conclusion that my next purchase was going to be a Dan Wesson VBOB in Duty finish. Less then a week and 400+ rounds later and I am absolutely in love! The fit and finish on it just amazes me, that is compared to some of the Colt's I had owned in the past.

Yesterday I decided that my Dan Wesson 1911 family needed to grow, so I bought a new ECO 45acp. It is due to arrive at my FFL tomorrow. I am sooo excited to see it in person. This will be my second Dan Wesson in less then a week.

So, my question to you guys is this. Other then a Specialist and a regular Valor, what should I put on my wish list?

I can honestly say that I have never had any interest in a 10mm until now!

10mm, Valor, Specialist, and something in 9mm, to round out the calibers.
Post some experiences with your ECO 45, I'm on the fence as to go 45 or 9mm. I'm leaning towards 45 as they both hold the same number of rounds and 45 has more punch. Its just costlier to shoot.

I plan on putting 100rds through the ECO tomorrow depending on what time it arrives at my FFL tomorrow and how fast I can get things done in the morning.

I was on the fence too but decided I needed to consolidate ammo. I have shot my step father's Kimber Ultra Carry II and the recoil on that was VERY manageable for me.

You can't go wrong. All are good. I love my Valor and Guardian, and my wife took my ECO....in 9mm,,others are in 45
I didn't want a bunch of different calibers.
