I wanted the longer barrel of the Target model (4") to reduce the noise level somewhat  It can be fired from the holster...

Which drawer?
I have an Ernest Langdon modified Berreta 92FS in one drawer.

well lets see. i have a few of em. a Ruger GP100 stainless 4in, a Glock 20 10mm, Taurus 85ul, and my Dan Wesson Heritage when i take it off at night.

Well there are a few
 Quick grab, on the night stand=  In the night stand Drawer=  And can't leave out the new LMT 308 next to the night stand=  Truthfully those are usually right there, but if everything is put up like if I have friends or family over my DW CCO is always with me and on my night stand every night (Cocked Locked & ready to rock). I know the 308 would be a pretty dangerous home defense gun and if shot would probably go through the next two houses right next to mine. Usually I have a Mossberg 500 sitting somewhere easy to grab. -Ryan S
