Default Here are my two new long guns.

today I picked up a Browning b.a.r in 338 Winchester Magnum and a Savage model 11 XP trophy hunter in 270 Winchester short mag. I bought both of them in a package deal I was only really wanting the short mag. So the Browning will probably be up for sale I don't have any elk in my neighborhood.

Nice score... With that Browning you should be able to reach out and touch some Elk a few states away.

The biggest pain in the a** you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every morning.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

The guy I got it from said an elk was taken at 488 yds with it. It had a scope on it at the time though.

Thanks guys. I listed that BAR on gun broker has two days left with a bid of 600 so far. It hasn't hit my reserve but it's only the first bid so I hope it sells.

Be careful you may fall in love with that 338 win, it's like a 7mm with a 250gn bullet.

50 bucks for twenty rounds is not my cup of tea. Brass isn't cheap either.
