ID BenchMade Knives
I have these two knives but can find no information on them on the internet. with all our new knife experts, someone is sure to know about them.
Both are NIB, box, papers and sock. I think they are Bali Songs but the model numbers don't sync. Thanks, Mike

Balisong is both the generic name of a type of knife (AKA "Butterfly knife") and the name of the company "Balisong USA" which made balisong knives before changing to Pacific Cutlery, and then to Benchmade. It is definitely a balisong. They made numerous balisong models that are no longer current.

I know how. Learned from the Filipinas. They would say "you don't butterfly" (go from girl to girl)

Why am I not surprised.
I own two of two of them. One real sharp one and another not so good quality for practice. Turned out the practice one was not conducive for practice as it didn't pivot smoothly. Wound up practicing more with the live one.

There are several utube videos on how to use them. Butterfly knives were popular back in the 1970s. Below is a link to the first of three tutorials:
Good luck.

Coincidentally a Sheriff Officer asked today if they were illegal. So, after a short research they are apparently now illegal in N.J. Go figure.

I bought one in Olongopo for about 5 bucks. Brass handles and blade tough enough to drive through a nickel. Wish I still had it
