That's why I was subtly prompting you about that in your other thread. Just didnt want to be "that guy". But whatever they want to name it, it's a good looking gun.

I've been saying that Sig 1911s are probably the most underrated gun on the market right now. My brother has two and they are fantastic guns. In my opinion, they've got the best bang for your buck in the sub-$1000 category.

I have a buddy who just got one. He has only put maybe about 100 rounds through it but hasn't reported any malfunctions yet. I'm gonna get my hands on it soon and see how its acting as far as extraction and ejection goes. I had a full sized Sig TacOps a while back that was a little less than awesome. I ditched it, and I picked up a TacOps Carry version today. So I'll give it a shot, and report back. Something about Sig's 1911s is just sooo interesting. They do make a beautiful well fit pistol, now if they can just get the reliability thing nailed down.

I bring my Sig GSR to the range on occasion. Its a hit with anyone who shoots it. Why? Because the little holes that develop in the target simply get closer together. Regardless of the shooter's ability. Mine is an early model, before the "Revolution" model came out. No mim parts at all, Caspian slide and frame. Fit and finish was excellent. Not a rail fan myself, but hey, it was my second 1911... so what did I know? Here's a picture:
